The workshop will start with a pre-meeting on September 9, afternoon.

During the pre-meeting working sessions, we will work on organizing the onset of the four new LANL sub-awards for CEET participation in DOE-EERE 2009/10 Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Program. These programs are led by UNM's Abhaya Datye, Kateryna Artyushkova, Tim Ward and Plamen Atanassov. LANL PIs are Piotr Zelenay, Eric Brosha, Rod Borup and Fernando Garzon.

They will tentatively be set in two parallel sessions:

· Catalysts & Support and

· Corrosion & Durability

September 10. The featured program of the 3rd Sunrise Springs Workshop on Catalysts & Electrocatalysts. Suggested topic this year is the Mechanism of ORR catalyzed by Non-Precious Metal Catalysts. We are working on inviting the most notable names in the business. Scientists from LANL, NREL, BNL, ONL, PNNL, ANL and Canadian INRS are being invited.

September 11. Current New Mexico DOE-EPSCoR Implementation Program annual review meeting. The agenda will include the overview and reflections on the DOE Annual Conference held this week at BNL and a set of technical progress notes delivered by the Co-PIs:

· Abhaya Datye, Tim Ward, Dimiter Petsev, Kateryna Artyushkova, Plamen Atanassov (UNM);

· Heinz Nakotte, Boris Kiefer and Igor Sevostianov (NMSU);

· Corey Leclerc and Mike Riley (NMT) and

· Juchao Yan (ENMU).
