Energy: Systems, Technology, Environment
We have depended primarily on petroleum distillates and other fossil carbon sources of energy over the last century, since the start of the Industrial Revolution. It is now imperative that we develop new sustainable sources of energy, and more efficient technologies for energy distribution and use. This is critical to the economic and political health of the United States, and to the sustainability of the Earth’s environment.
